I've been writing music since Spring 2002, and have been singing since Fall 2002. I started playing the guitar in 1998, but have only been a serious player since Spring 2002. Although percussion was my first love (since 1988), I began to enjoy the different types of expression that were opened up to me with guitar, piano, strings, etc... And due to some unavoidable inspiration, I found myself writing songs here and there, and before I knew it I had come out of my shell.
I can't hold a finger to truly great artists, but I learn everything that I can. My hope is to be able to 'see' music with a unique perspective that will inspire.
The band is an extension of myself, essentially, with the very useful input of the other 2 members. Chris Goodin on bass, Dave Temple on bass. I have to give them most of the credit for writing the songs, although the lyrics and overall shaping of the sound mostly fall onto my shoulders. It is a true team effort though, and we don't let our egos get in the way. If I had it my way I'd play with these guys forever.
